| This Thai eatery merges traditional and modern with ease. Neat contemporary timber and an eye-catching purple bar front are tempered with small touches of silk and Thai artifacts (including a not-so-subtle gold elephant out front). The menu includes familiar dishes such as tom yum and panang curry, with a bit of indulgence in dishes such as the lobster tail with red onion, capsicum and oyster sauce. One of the house specialties is the pineapple fried rice with seafood and mild spices, which can be ordered as a sweet side to cool a spicy curry. There are plenty of casual alfresco seats for diners to lounge in and take in the spectacle of the promenade.
