16 September: General Show
This week on Postcards, Glen finds a romantic beach hideaway on Phillip Island to stay and play, Lawrence makes his own signature fizz at a new Red Hill winery, Esther learns about bread making and listens to some music at the Abbotsford Convent and Bridget takes a tour of Parliament House and enjoys their High Tea.
Hill of Content
The little fishing village of Ryhll, located on Phillip Island, was originally popular with early explorers looking for safe moorings. More recently it has become known as one of the island's best discoveries. Awarded five stars by AAA, Glen shows you why Hill of Content is a one of the area's best choices for accommodation. Whether you're after a safe haven for the night or a place with all the modern luxuries so you can settle in for a couple of days, Hill of Content has it all and either way we are sure you'll be content with what's on offer.

Foxeys Hangout
Of Victoria's many wine regions, the Mornington Peninsula is one of the most prolific and best loved. Just an hour's drive south of Melbourne, Foxeys Hangout is located on an historic farming property in Red Hill. Join Loz as he 'hangs out' on this Mornington Peninsula property, which is now famous for growing, making and selling premium cool climate wines. Foxeys point of difference is that they use the exact methods pioneered the Champagne region of France and offer visitors the rare opportunity to take part in the final stages of making a fine sparkling wine.

Abbotsford Convent
The Abbotsford Convent is an amazing place with an extraordinary history. Located just four kilometres from the CBD, the convent's historic buildings and lush gardens are spread over six and a half hectares on the Yarra River in Abbotsford. It's a place brimming with culture and learning, coffee and food and most importantly a place for us, the community, to congregate. As well as serving great coffee and cakes in a gorgeous café atmosphere they make excellent bread prepared in the convent's original 1901 oven once used by the sisters themselves.

The Grange at Cleveland Winery
The Macedon Ranges is a great spot if you don't want to travel too far but you really want to escape the city. The Grange at Cleveland Winery was converted to an exclusive retreat in 2003 and now has accommodation fit for a king. The property's original homestead is available to groups only and has six deluxe spa suites, multiple living areas, a formal dining room and a pool table. Just because you have escaped the city does not mean you have necessarily left the office and with its state of the art multimedia centre, Cleveland is the perfect destination for seminars and business meetings as well.
