| There's nothing pretentious about Matsuya, it's a great value little restaurant that serves satisfying meals. Tuck into a serve of chilli mussel rolls for some lip-smacking action, or grab a steak Japanese style: it's an eye fillet with a sauce of orange, soy, apple and rice wine. Bento boxes and daily specials are a big part of the menu. This is one of the few cheap Japanese restaurants that Melbourne offers, and as such represents good value for money. It's often very busy - so don't come expecting to get in and out quickly.
