| Il Papiro’s handmade papers and personalised stationery remind us of a more genteel time when ‘text message’ meant a letter, not an SMS. Imported predominantly from Florence, the stock is crafted according time-honoured traditions dating back over several centuries. Indeed, it’s a rare treat to hold leather-bound notebooks and journals not unlike ones Renaissance poets or painters would have used. Even rarer when you remember that this Il Papiro is one of only a few outlets outside Italy.
