| When you think of traditional Thai restaurants, fluorescent walls and playschool-style fittings hardly spring to mind. Well, Ying Thai is a little different. Cheerful slogans (hello!) painted atop lime green walls salute diners on entry, while bright blue tabletops and plastic yellow chairs provide the setting for Thai dining with a twist. If you haven't guessed already: your kids will love it. Stir-fried meals are the specialty of the day, with a range of chicken, beef, seafood, duck, pork and vegetarian options. In fact, the modest menu and friendly prices may just provide the perfect offset to its unashamedly child-like design.
