| In the latter part of 2008, the Stag Inn returned on the scene with a fresh look and a slight name change - The Stag Restaurant. With new owners Tanya Conellan and Liz Foreman, the 161-year-old dining room was brought back to life with a makeover in the decor and the menu. Retaining its old-style charm, the Stag offers a prime spot in Port Fairy for food and wine lovers, with local and seasonal produce and regional wines playing a starring role.
