16 March - Wilsons Promontory
On this week's show the Postcards team visits the stunning National Park at Wilsons Promontory and its surrounding area. Suzie finds tranquillity at Singapore Deep and admires some art along the way. Glen treks to the lighthouse and checks out cabins to stay in at the Prom. Shane spends the night at Bear Gully Cottages and Esther gets a cooking lesson at a lodge with spectacular views.
Singapore Deep
If you want to visit Wilsons Prom and stay somewhere that oozes style then Singapore Deep is the place for you. It offers two stunning architecturally designed pavilions set in Yanakie which is just 3 minutes by car from the Prom. Both guest houses offer self-catering. One has views to die for and the other is set amongst the native flora and fauna. If you feel like a drive then just 20 minutes up the road in Fish Creek visit the Celia Rosser Gallery and Banksia Café.

Tidal River Cabins
Wilsons Promontory could be described as the ultimate playground for those looking to escape the hustle a bustle of the city. The Parks office and visitors centre, run by Parks Victoria at Tidal River, is the spot to get information on everything that's happening in the Prom from bush walking to camping. If you're spending a few nights at the prom there's nothing wrong with roughing it and pitching up a tent but there's also nothing wrong with doing it in style. There are luxury cabins available at the camping ground which have been designed to keep the kids at one end and the grown ups down the other.

Bear Gully Coastal Cottages
Bear Gully Coastal Cottages is one of the most stunning places to stay and enjoy the Prom. You can enjoy the privacy of the cottages while admiring fantastic views of Waratah Bay and the distance hills of Wilsons Promontory. While you may be far from civilisation, the comfort of the cottages certainly gets a four star rating. Each cottage has a large undercover deck that opens out from the lounge but there's every chance you'll venture out and explore, especially when you have this amazing beach literally on your door step.

Lighthouse Hike
If you really want to enjoy the true beauty of the Prom you've got to leave the car behind and walk it. For that little bit of extra effort you'll get a huge reward. From the Telegraph saddle car park it's a 19km walk out to the Wilsons Promontory lighthouse. The walk is suitable for most people with a reasonable level of fitness and you'll take in some best scenery in the Prom. If you plan on making the trek out to the lighthouse all you need to bring is your own food and drink. Besides that you'll have everything you need for a memorable experience.
