| Founded in 2001, Bus is an artist-run initiative featuring artist studios and a gallery comprising three exhibition spaces. Conceived to support local, national and international practitioners and curators, one of Bus’s special features is a dedicated sound gallery. Bus also participates in a variety of exchange programs staging reciprocal exhibitions with interstate and overseas galleries. Meanwhile, temporary artist residencies give visitors a deeper insight into the creative process as they witness works in progress. Showcasing emerging and established talent, Bus represents both the artistic journey and the destination.
