| At the Brunswick end of Lygon Street normally associated with Middle Eastern cuisine, Matsumoto serves up traditional Japanese dishes to a loyal clientele of locals and those to which its reputation has spread. The dishes are very reasonably priced and the menu is extensive, covering all manner of Japanese specialties from sushi, soups and seafood teppanyaki to noodles and hot pot specialties cooked at the table, as well as a large listing of vegetarian options.
