The Apartment is like a super hero. By day it is a mild-mannered yet funky lunch venue, with casual communal tables on one side and a more formal dining room on the other. By night it transforms into a suave and sophisticated late-night lounge with a saucy tapas menu and cigar smoke-filled library, making it all to easy to segue smoothly from corporate lunch to post-work party - possibly without returning to the office in between. The daytime menu features flavoursome modern Australian creations, ranging from simple and wallet-friendly meals served at the communal tables, to more complicated dishes (still accessible for both palate and pocket) in the dining room. The nighttime tapas menu provides tasty snacks to soak up a cocktail or two - without having to resort to the greasy fodder of potato wedges and the like.
