Motor sports on Phillip Island
Phillip Island picks up the pace when the motorcycle racing fraternity journeys south. The island is home to the World Superbike Championship held in April and the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix held in October. Four-wheel enthusiasts can get their fix when the V8 Supercar Championship roars into town during November.

Phillip Island Circuit With a history of action on the track dating back to 1928, the Phillip Island Circuit offers visitors the chance to re-acquaint themselves with all aspects of motor racing, as well as get a glimpse of life on the island in times gone by.
The History of Motor Sport depicts different eras of motor racing through to the present day, with photos and vehicles on display. You can also tour the race control tower, podium and the pits to see where all the action happens
Take a walk through the circuit’s adjoining water gardens up to the circuit viewing area, which offers panoramic views of the track set against the backdrop of the ocean.
HSV Hotlaps, a new activity at the track offers you the chance to strap yourself in for three laps around the Phillip Island Circuit with a professional racing car driver.
