The interior screams 'Kapow!' with a playful retro comic-book aesthetic; the walls are decorated with a montage of action scenes and speech bubbles, while vinyl spins on the decks. The drinks and pizza pie menu are all titled in a rather risque fashion, peppered with exclamation marks.

More than fifteen varieties of local and imported wines are available by the bottle or the glass, and a specialised cocktail menu is under development, but the emphasis at Argy is undoubtedly the beer. Carlton Draught and Krusovice are on tap, as well as a selection of 16 boutique varieties of long neck beers sold cold by the bottle.

If you're feeling spicy after knocking back a few, order the Dirty Sanchez - a thin-crust topped with salsa, Edam cheese, guacamole, sour cream and chilli beans. Gourmet lovers can treat their dates to a bottle of dessert wine and one of the sensual sweet pizzas, such Sexual Chocolate (which features an exotic topping of bananas, dark Belgian chocolate, creamy mascarpone cheese and dustings of caster sugar) on a comfy couch or in one of the dimly lit private booths.
