St Arnaud Tourism is conveniently located in the heart of the historic township. Settled in 1855, St Arnaud was known as New Bendigo - an apt description as the elaborate cast iron verandahs on many fine old buildings are certainly worthy of that city.

Call in and see our friendly volunteers and staff for a self-guided walking tour which will take you through noted heritage buildings in Napier Street, to the Civic Heritage Precinct, or visit the lovely Pioneer Park, designed by the renowned Edna Walling.

A visit to the St Arnaud Range National Park and Kara Kara State Parks is a must for the nature lover or try your luck gold prospecting in the region.
