| For a restaurant set amongst the fuss and clamour of Melbourne's Chapel Street, the Greek Deli & Taverna is surprisingly inconspicuous. With a muted brick interior and simple black and white furnishings, it's a refreshing change for those looking to escape the city bustle and settle into some hearty Greek dining. Savoury risotti, souvlaki and choice lamb cutlets make up the more traditional menu options, while fried calamari and prawns also give it a fresh, contemporary twist. In homage to a much-loved Greek icon, the restaurant offers 'Zorba's banquet'- a feast of dips, saganaki, octopus, dolmades, Greek salad, calamari, prawns, mussels, meat platter and coffee. At $45 per person, it's good value for money.
