The house affords panoramic views across Corner Inlet Marine Park and the dairy farms of the Yanakie Isthmus to the rugged northern face of the Vereker Mountain Range and other peaks of Wilsons Promontory stretching away in the distance.

The combination of mountain, land, sea, sky and southern light provides an opportunity for photographers, artists and casual travellers alike.

Vereker House is committed to environmental awareness , with massive adobe walls, heavy mass floors, solar orientation and wide overhanging eaves sensibly combine to assist with natural cooling in summer and heat retention in winter. Our water supply is provided by rain water collection and stored for later reticulation and filtering as appropriate.
