Did Adam and Eve have belly buttons? You know you're in good hands when your local hangout has a question of the week chalk-written on a mini blackboard. This and many other delights await you at Bebida, the tapas darling of Smith Street. On warm days, the paneled glass front doors open up enough for you to dangle your legs out onto the street while you sip on sangria. On cooler days, they're closed to trap the heat inside as you take mouthfuls of mulled wine. The tapas, though Spanish in style, has some outside influences. A popular choice is the wasabi tuna dish. The mildness of the fish makes it a wonderful host for the heat of the wasabi—and if you're not ready for it, it will smack you.
