Audi Victoria Week is an annual event, which commences in Melbourne before the yachts set sail for Corio Bay during the historic Melbourne to Geelong passage race. Witness the spectacle as over 400 yachts arrive and wander the marina at the Royal Geelong Yacht Club to take a closer look. The program of activities includes live entertainment, roving performers, food and wine, children’s activities, art & craft markets, beach volleyball, outrigger canoe racing, Bay FM Fireworks Spectacular and lots more along the Geelong Waterfront. A free ‘Come Try Sailing’ activity will also be staged, providing people of all ages an opportunity to learn how to sail. Audi Victoria Week is Australia's largest keel boat regatta. First held in 1844, it’s also the oldest sporting event in Victoria. The event attracts in excess of 450 yachts and over 4,500 competitors, with thousands of spectators coming along to enjoy the free activities on offer. Audi Victoria Week is held annually over the Australia Day long weekend and is a ‘must do’ event.
