Mt Buller Village Centre and Cow Camp

Located at the entrance to Mt Buller Village and featuring warming area, drying room, kiosk, family facility, toilets, ski shops, ticket office, bus terminal, police station, Visitor Information Centre, restaurants, retail outlets, outdoor gathering and seating.

Parking
Summer: Car parking behind building, though no designated area. 
Winter: No parking except for buses and busline 4WDs.

Accessibility

  • Entrance via public car parks. Despite the wheelchair accessible symbol displayed, this can only be accessed via a 200mm step at the front entry and two steps and a mat at the rear where the car park is located. The rear steps measure 110mm and 125mm, with no rails. Entry door is 870mm wide.
  • Circulation space inside Cow Camp is good in summer but may get crowded in winter.
  • Tables 720mm high.
  • Public telephones are at an accessible height.
  • The Visitor Information Centre has several steps.

Rest area
Circulation space is 1550mm x 1800mm with two doors, the first heavy and 870mm wide and the second easy to open and also 870mm wide.
Toilet: Unisex but not signed as such. Side grab rail at 810mm rising to 1100mm, no rear grab rail. 
Toilet height: 450mm.
Sidewall to centre line of bowl: 470mm.
Front of toilet to rear: 510mm.
Basin has knee space at 800mm with capstan taps.

Lighting
Electric in rest area, electric and natural in seating area.

Floor
Carpeted in Cow Camp. Paved in outdoor area, except earthen and pebbled pathway connecting car park to Village Centre area.
