Gisborne Peak Winery Eco-Cottages is a facility where sustainability, luxury, relaxation and fine wine all come together in one location. The four cottages are set in a picturesque vineyard overlooking the vines and the lake. Each of the three cottages are self-contained and are located only 45 minutes from Melbourne, 20 minutes from Piper Street in Kyneton and 40 minutes from Daylesford. They are powered by the wind and sun. The cottages use sustainable, renewable energy resources. A small wind turbine captures the breeze and the solar panels capture the rays of the sun. They are surrounded by Australian gardens and landscaping. The result is a low-impact facility located on the doorstep to the beautiful Macedon Ranges. Each cottage has its own outdoor deck overlooking the vines and the lake. All the creature comforts are there including LCD televisions with DVD players, air-conditioning, microwaves, barbecues, books, CD's, magazines and more. Breakfast provisions for both a continental or cooked breakfast are in your room on arrival.Sleep in, cook breakfast or go for a walk through the vineyard first. You are in charge. Join in the seasonal vineyard activities if you wish! The nearby winery is a short walk away and is open seven days a week. Taste the estate grown wines, enjoy a glass on the open air cellar door deck or in the Fireside Room. Wood-fired pizzas are served Friday to Sunday and all public holidays.

Sustainable TourismGisborne Peak Winery Eco-Cottages are powered by the wind and sun. The cottages use sustainable, renewable energy resources. A small wind turbine captures the ever present breeze and the solar panels capture the sun. They are surrounded by an Australian garden and landscaping to merge the cottages into the landscape as much as possible. The cottages are made of Durra Form, a pressed straw bale product that is sustainable and releases no volatile organic compounds. The windows are all double-glazed. The result is a low-impact tourism facility located on the doorstep to the beautiful Macedon Ranges.
