Paramoor Winery was established in 2005 by Will Fraser, and is already one of the most popular and awarded wineries in the Macedon Ranges.

A boutique operation, Paramoor Winery is about quality over quantity. From the meticulous selection of grapes to the perfectly elegant homemade pizzas that are served at the cellar door, every detail is considered and the results speak for themselves.

Paramoor's wines have attracted international recognition, with high praise coming from Australia's most recognised wine critic, James Halliday. He calls Paramoor an 'excellent producer of very high quality wines' and has judged several Paramoor wines to be among the best in the nation.

Located in native bushland high in the Macedon Ranges, cool climate grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Riesling, Shiraz, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon thrive in rich volcanic soils; while the region's Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir grapes are thought to be among the purest in the world.

Paramoor Winery's cellar door tasting and sales area draws a crowd as much for its relaxed ambience and thoughtful displays of history, as for its outstanding wines and wood fired oven pizzas. Pizzas are served on the first two full weekends of each month and public holidays.

A visit to Paramoor is a must for anyone touring the picturesque Macedon Ranges.
