Wallaston is a boutique winery in the Macedon Ranges region of Victoria.

Cellar Door is located in Aperitivo Food and Wine Bar at 57 Piper Street Kyneton Vic 3444.

Winemaker, Ron Wallas, is also the owner. At Wallaston they are "negociants", which means they have no vineyard, but purchase fruit from vineyards in the surrounding area. This is traditional of Burgundy in France and is fitting with the Macedon Ranges which strives to be is prominent in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay varietals and wines. Wallaston commenced operations in 2005 by purchasing a half share in two tonnes of fruit. The name was derived from that transaction. Wallas' tonne - "Wallaston" success was immediate and the 2006 Macedon Ranges Shiraz, from Willow Run Vineyard Metcalfe, was awarded first place in Class G - Shiraz and Shiraz blends, and Trophy Winner of the Best Red in Show at Kyneton Wine Show 2007. This award winner is unfortunately now sold out.The 2008 "Sassy" Syrah, from the same vineyard, which has only recently been released, is showing similar characteristics. The label and bottle shape has been changed for this wine, however, the winemaking remained the same. Hand picked fruit, crushed within half an hour of picking, in the cool of the morning. Traditional winemaking techniques were applied with open fermentors and basket press. Then age in Oak for 14 months and use minimal filtration.
