Since 1895, taking the waters at The Bathhouse has been a must do when visiting Australia's premier spa destination. After a $13m redevelopment in 2008, the Hepburn Bathhouse and Spa is open daily, and visitors can enjoy traditional communal bathing in The Bathhouse and The Sanctuary, or book in to The Spa for a more private experience.
Throughout history, baths have been known as a gathering place for social activity, healthy exercise and mental relaxation. Bathing in its many forms has been proven to enliven both the mind and spirit. At Hepburn Bathhouse and Spa they encourage communal, shared rituals of traditional Bathhouses in the region's mineral waters. Explore the curative effects of mineral water, salt water and steam in their facilities which include an aroma steam room; salt therapy pool; relaxation pool; and spa couches submerged in mineral water complemented by extensive relaxation decks.
From private healing mineral baths, to massage, facials, body wraps and polishes, manicures and pedicures, every treatment at The Spa will rejuvenate and reinvigorate. Your therapist will guide you through your spa experience and can even provide a mineral makeup session so that you emerge looking and feeling fabulous.

Hepburn Springs is easily accessed via Daylesford. From Melbourne travel north on the Calder Highway and follow the signs to Daylesford. Alternatively take the Western Highway towards Ballarat and follow the signs north to Daylesford.

The Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa features in Tourism Victoria's new 'Daylesford. Lead a Double Life' campaign. The campaign was launched in late August 2010 with a focus on interstate markets, and stars Isabel Lucas accompanied by stunning visuals and an intriguing soundtrack. A number of versions of the Daylesford advertisement have been created and will be seen on television and in cinemas across key interstate markets. In each version, Isabel washes away the excesses of her 'other' life in the health-promoting mineral waters of the Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa's Salt Therapy Pool.
