Black Cat Truffles in Wattle Flat, near Ballarat, will be opened for an informative day of truffle activities to showcase this little known truffle variety.Participants will have the opportunity to hunt for truffles, learn about growing truffles and the importance of both water and frost for germinating truffles. Local chef Peter Ford will be conducting cooking demonstrations and sample a selection of truffle dishes. Join us afterwards for a picnic and a chat in the trufferie
