Kyneton Agricultural Show

03 5423 5248

16 - 17 Nov 2018 (dates to be confirmed)

Come to an authentic country show, just one hour from Melbourne.

Kyneton Agricultural Show has all of your farm favourites: tiny ponies, magnificent stallions and work horses with their wagons competing for best in show; stud bulls, champion chooks and more than 700 dogs of every breed imaginable.

In the pavilion, see the best of country cooking, craft, farm produce, flowers, photography and the clever transformation of farm junk into agricultural art.

The show is famous for free activities: cuddle the cutest menagerie at Farmer Darryl's animal nursery or get up close and learn about native wildlife. In the Farm Shed, watch sheep shearing and a horse's hooves being expertly trimmed. Kids can make their own Trash Puppet, a wind chime or a toy ute in the woodwork tent - all free.

Try farm-inspired parkour with one obstacle course for juniors and a fast track for older kids and adults to test themselves racing over the agricultural obstacles.

Try laser tag in the hay bales at the Friday night carnival aimed at teens. The Meltdown wipeout challenge is free for all, plus there is side show alley, the dodgems and all the rides as well as fabulous fireworks at 9:00pm.
