The MAD Ride is Victoria's original and best recreational bike ride on the calendar. Organised by the Melbourne Bicycle Touring Club, the MAD Ride is the oldest recreational bike ride in Victoria and this year is offering a choice of four different rides in and around Woodend and the Macedon Ranges.

The four routes include:

- A family friendly 26km loop ride
- A medium 65km ride for those ready to step up to the next level
- For those who like going off-road a 60km mountain bike ride through Wombat State Forest. It's challenging and includes some technical sections.
- The challenging 106km loop ride which goes over Mt Macedon, through Trentham and follows the edge of the Wombat State Forest.

The MAD Ride is all about people of all ages and riding abilities getting active and enjoying some of the best cycling Victoria has to offer.

There's plenty for everyone and no excuse for staying at home. Grab your friends, bring your family and haul your mates and neighbours along to Victoria's favourite community bike ride.

All routes will have roving bike mechanics from Abbotsford Cycles.

Those who register early by March 14th have the chance to win a Vivente World Randonneur from Abbotsford Cycles valued at over $1,800. Grasshopper Adventures will be raffling a bike riding holiday in Asia on the day.

Registrations will also be taken on the day.
