The accredited Sunbury Visitor Information Centre is located in the beautifully restored Old Sunbury Court House. It is open seven days a week and has a wide range of services that are offered for both locals and visitors.

At the Centre you can get free citywide information, free Sunbury and surrounds information including accommodation, attractions, events and function or conference venues and chat to local friendly volunteers .

Discover the history of the region and the story behind the Birthplace of the Ashes, dress up as a judge and preside over the courtroom, get some free brochures and enjoy a free cup of tea.

At Sunbury Visitor Information Centre browse through historical literature and photos, purchase locally made produce including candles, soaps, face creams, spices, pens, Ashes Urn replica's and miniature cricket bats.

They even have a free tour guide for either large or small bus groups. These do need to be pre-arranged so please contact them. For any further information view their website.

Local directions

Travel down Tullamarine Freeway from Melbourne and continue past Melbourne Airport. Continue through Bulla and follow the yellow italicised 'i' signs to the Visitor Information Centre. Alternatively you can drive down the Calder Freeway, take the Sunbury exit and make a right turn at the first roundabout and follow the signs to the Visitor Information Centre.

Open seven days a week. Closed Christmas Day and Good Friday only. Closed until 1pm on ANZAC Day.
