The multi award winning units each feature two bedrooms with room enough for five guests, offering private deck with superb views overlooking the Gippsland Lakes, plus private jetty.Built in the 70's the units have been retrofitted with guest comfort in mind, but still offer a laidback retro charm which will have you feeling instantly relaxed when you arrive.The kitchen is well stocked to satisfy any master chef, with basic amenities included to get your stay off to a great start. Wake up to an inspiring sunrise over the lake, enjoy a lazy breakfast on your deck and feed the cheeky native birds. When you are ready, amble 50 metres down to the lake to take a quick dip, launch or a kayak or dangle a line in off the jetty. Jetty Road Retreat is both secluded haven and ideal base for enjoying all East Gippsland's attractions with coastal beaches, tourist villages, historic rail trails, local produce markets and water based activities all within easy reach.
The Two Bedroom Self Contained Unit's offer breathtaking views of the Gippsland Lakes and can sleep up to five people (queen bed and single or double bunk bed). The comfy beds have electric blankets, with doonas and pillows, and all bed and bath linen supplied.
Originally built in the 70's, the units have been immaculately maintained, offering a relaxed, retro charm, with fully equipped kitchens to cook up a storm. Bathroom features shower over hip bath. Ceiling fans and large windows designed to capture the sea breeze offer sustainable cooling, and energy efficient slimline heaters will keep you warm in the cooler months (one unit also offers reverse cycle system).
