Gracefield Cottage is a country getaway just five minutes from Neerim South, 90 minutes from Melbourne and is in the heart of West Gippsland. You will be drawn into the quietness of the beautiful, picturesque countryside. The Cottage is the ideal place to wind down from the hectic life of the city.
The cottage which is fully self-contained, is nestled amongst a 100 acre deer farm, and has two bedrooms upstairs, including a small sitting room. Sleeping up to five people it is ideal for couples, families or friends.
The views from the bedroom are delightful, looking out over the rolling green pastures and natural bushland. Downstairs is the bathroom, kitchen and a very comfortable and cosy lounge with a wood fire, TV, DVD and CD players. There is also a selection of DVD's and CD's for your enjoyment. A breakfast basket is supplied for you to have at your leisure.
You can soak up the peaceful surroundings of a working farm or take a walk around the property, which borders the Neerim State Forest, where the natural bush is abundant with wildlife. Sit on the veranda and sip a coffee while watching the native birds, such as the king parrots, rosellas and galahs.
Enjoy the wonderful food and wine that West Gippsland has to offer or picnic at the nearby Tarago Dam or the fern gullies of Glen Nayook, the spectacular Toorongo Falls or the historic Trestle Bridge in Noojee. Mt Baw Baw is only 50 minutes away and provides ideal skiing for families in winter or during the summer months go bushwalking, bike riding and watch the wildflowers burst into life.
There are many craft markets, galleries and wineries in the Gippsland Gourmet Country region and Villages to visit such as Yarragon, Walhalla and Noojee.
