Overview
Silvertop Cottages offer three individual cottages nestled amongst the forest.
Set in 12 acres of private forest, these 'Storybook Cottages' have been individually designed and positioned to enhance the experience and enjoyment for visitors during their time here. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or family holiday, you will feel as if one of these cottages has been designed just for you!
Situated midway between Erica and Rawson, and a short drive from Walhalla, Silvertop Cottages is a great place to relax and escape from the pressures of your working week.
Countless walking tracks lead directly from the cottages into the surrounding State Forests. You can chose to stroll or ride along the ridge and pass through ferny gullies down towards the Mill Pond and on into Erica. Alternatively you can follow the rail trail through the forest towards Thomson and on to Walhalla,which ever route you decide to enjoy you can always count on being accompanied by stunning scenery.
Bring the family and introduce them to some of the heritage and local history in Walhalla, Cooper's Creek and surrounds.
The newly completed South Face Road means Mt Baw Baw is now an easy drive from Silvertop Cottages, allowing you to enjoy the excitement of downhill skiing, or some fun whilst playing in the snow. Further on, Mt St Gwinear has some stunning cross-country skiing to offer.
Can't decide what to do? Then sit back, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest, rest out on the balcony or enjoy a snooze on the couch! How you enjoy your stay is up to you.
