Gippsland Lakehouse is a luxury waterfront four bedroom holiday rental house situated on the Paynesville canals of the Gippsland Lakes. Capturing the sun all day from its northerly aspect, guests can relax on any of the three decks which offer stunning views across the canals, lakes and mountains.The lower deck leads to a private jetty, the middle deck extends the living area complete with outdoor open fireplace, barbecue, outdoor dining and sun lounges, and the top deck ensures a private area adjacent to the master bedrooms, also with an outdoor setting.Perfect for a weekend away with a group of friends or for a couple of families, Gippsland Lakehouse is one of the few truly child friendly properties on the canals. The huge entertaining deck is enclosed with a glass balustrade and has a lockable gate leading down to the water. All the sliding doors are also lockable. The house is fully equipped with baby furniture so you can travel light. There are computer games for the older kids, board games, and a library of DVDs and CDs to suit every taste.Gippsland Lakehouse is the perfect getaway for boat lovers. The Gippsland Lakes offer the best inland water for both water sports and fishing. Where else in country Victoria can you tie up your boat outside your house for the duration of your stay? But you do not have to have a boat to enjoy the tranquil surrounds and amenities of this luxurious waterfront villa. The area offers lakeside walks, rail trail bicycle paths, markets, wineries, gourmet cafes and restaurants. The area is well serviced by the village of Paynesville, and every possible amenity is provided for by the larger town of Bairnsdale, a ten minute drive away.

Condensed booking and cancellation policy requires a three per cent deposit within five days of making booking. Payment can be made over the phone with credit card or via direct deposit into Gippsland Lakes Escapes bank account, please phone for these details. Payments must be made by due dates or booking is not confirmed. Please note, they do not accept payment by cheque. Further, a refundable bond payment or credit card number imprint is required if tariff payment is made other than by credit card. Ensure that all booking details are correct. Paynesville is a comfortable three hour drive from Melbourne along the Monash Freeway via Bairnsdale. Paynesville is only a 10 minute drive from Bairnsdale which is serviced regularly by V/Line train from Melbourne. There is also an airstrip at Bairnsdale.
On exiting Bairnsdale, there is a turn off to Paynesville on the left. Follow this exit along the Bairnsdale-Paynesville Road for 14 kilometres. Once at Paynesville, continue straight ahead until you spot the petrol station on your left. Just before the petrol station turn left down Burden Place. The Inlet is the third street on the right.
