The iconic Fish Creek Hotel (1939) is a magnificently imposing, white Art Deco building located in the heart of artistic Fish Creek. The restaurant features an extensive menu of fresh, seasonal and regional produce that highlights the best South Gippsland and Victoria has to offer. The wine list features a well researched selection of awarded Gippsland wines. A full variety of local, national and international beer and spirits is also available. A separate bar menu caters for smaller, more casual dining.Food is on offer seven days a week generally 11:45am to 14:30pm and 17:45pm to 20:45pm in the private dining room (The Oberon Room), bar, beer garden or at casual outside tables. Bookings are advised.Shorter hours apply outside of the peak period but the Fish Creek hotel is open for lunch and dinner seven days per week. Enquire for information about catering, event management, small conferences, meetings and functions.There are two forms of accommodation; the hotel with eight refurbished rooms (Guest house style) in the main building and a further nine well-equipped retro motel units behind the hotel. The Fish Creek Hotel have convenient parking and a large shady garden area.The Fish Creek Hotel also offers tourist information, bottle shop, automated teller machine, TAB and free wireless internet.The Fish Creek Hotel is wheelchair and elderly friendly with ample car parking, access ramp, handrails and wide doorways.Dogs are always welcome in the beer garden (provided they are kept on a leash).The hotel is 25 minutes from the gates of Wilson's Promontory, 30 minutes from Leongatha and Inverloch, 10 minutes from Foster and 15 minutes from the beautiful beaches of Sandy Point, Waratah Bay and Walkerville.
