Waratah Lodge is an intimate boutique country hotel with stunning coastal views over Waratah Bay and Wilsons Promontory, the perfect place to unwind and relax in the rural area of Waratah North, South Gippsland. It is very close to Walkerville, Waratah Bay and Sandy Point and just 30 minutes from Wilsons Promontory.Once at Waratah Lodge you can unwind in the unique coast and country environment to the sound of local wildlife and beautiful views. Read a book, take a walk, or enjoy a light snack and a coffee from their cafe. There are lots of things to do around the area including local art galleries, unique shops, interesting nature and bush walks, fishing sailing and much, much more. From the large windows you can watch native animals grazing on the grassed area at the front. They would love to host your next family gathering or special event. The Lodge is also a great venue or work place team building. Get out of the city and spend a weekend and you will go away refreshed.Waratah Lodge is a friendly family run business offering great value for money with quality accommodation. A $100 deposit is required to secure booking, balance payable on arrival. Deposit will be retained if no front or cancellation inside of one week. A full refund will be given if more than two weeks notice is given.
The Lodge is an easy two hour drive from Melbourne via the South Gippsland highway and only a short 35 minute drive to Wilsons Promontory and five minutes to three popular beaches including Waratah Bay, Sandy point and Walkerville.
From Fish Creek follow signs towards Walkerville. Thomson Road is three kilometres after the Waratah Road Walkerville Fish Creek Road intersection. Turn left into Thomson Road and drive into the Lodge.
