History buff's may like to visit Coal Creek (Free), Wonthaggi Coal Mine, Port Albert Museum, Foster Museum, Port Welshpool Maritime Museum and the Walkerville Lime Kiln's.
The Great Southern Rail Trail is right across the road from the motel and is a great way to see some of the wild life of the area while staying fit. Bikes are available for hire at the motel.
