Edgewater Terraces at Metung is amongst the ambience of a small fishing village, surrounded by sailing boats and fishing boats bobbing gently at their moorings. Edgewater Terraces at Metung is your private terrace by the lakes and comprises thirteen elegant terrace houses. Surrounded by tall gums, they rise out of a garden setting on the hillside and look down on to Chinaman's Creek as it enters Bancroft Bay. Some of the terraces are virtually three storeys high and you gain a sense of living in the treetops, because of the rich variety of birdlife.Regular visitors to Edgewater Terraces say it is a charming place to stay all year round. In winter you can just sit by the log fire and read a book, wander in to Metung Village along the boardwalk, or dine at the nearby restaurants or the waterfront hotel. You do not have to do anything or go anywhere, just enjoy the tranquillity. All Terrace Houses are totally self contained with all the luxury, care and appointments you are accustomed to. The upstairs bedroom opens out on to a balcony as does the living room downstairs allowing guests the opportunity to take in the seaside and bushland atmosphere. The huge four bedroom Lakeview Terrace House is an attraction to many families getting together; it sleeps up to ten people. This terrace has a games room, a large barbecue on the rear deck, and balconies overlooking the water. They have a private marina to cater for your fishing and boating needs. Guests have full use of a salt water, solar heated swimming pool, wading pool, an enclosed indoor heated spa and a children's playground within the grounds. There are two communal barbecue's, although most units have their own barbecue's. Guests have complimentary use of Metung tennis courts.
