Edgewater Terraces at Metung is amongst the ambience of a small fishing village, surrounded by sailing boats and fishing boats bobbing gently at their moorings. Edgewater Terraces at Metung is your private terrace by the lakes and comprises thirteen elegant terrace houses. Surrounded by tall gums, they rise out of a garden setting on the hillside and look down on to Chinaman's Creek as it enters Bancroft Bay. Some of the terraces are virtually three storeys high and you gain a sense of living in the treetops, because of the rich variety of birdlife.Regular visitors to Edgewater Terraces say it is a charming place to stay all year round. In winter you can just sit by the log fire and read a book, wander in to Metung Village along the boardwalk, or dine at the nearby restaurants or the waterfront hotel. You do not have to do anything or go anywhere, just enjoy the tranquillity.All Terrace Houses are totally self contained with all the luxury, care and appointments you are accustomed to. The upstairs bedroom opens out on to a balcony as does the living room downstairs allowing guests the opportunity to take in the seaside and bushland atmosphere.The huge four bedroom Lakeview Terrace House is an attraction to many families getting together; it sleeps up to ten people. This terrace has a games room, a large barbecue on the rear deck, and balconies overlooking the water.They have a private marina to cater for your fishing and boating needs. Guests have full use of a salt water, solar heated swimming pool, wading pool, an enclosed indoor heated spa and a children's playground within the grounds. There are two communal barbecue's, although most units have their own barbecue's. Guests have complimentary use of Metung tennis courts.

Resort TerracesRates are for two to three bedroom Resort Terraces accommodating from two to eight people. Low season rates apply from February to December excluding long weekends and Easter. High season rates apply to January school holidays, long weekends and Easter. A low season rate of $165 per night applies for a one bedroom Resort Terrace.

Deposit of one night's accommodation required to confirm the booking with the exception of 'high season' when full tariff is payable 30 days prior to arrival. Cancellations of 30 days or more prior to arrival date - full refund. Less than 30 days, refund depends on rebooking the unit.
DIRECTIONS TO METUNG FROM BAIRNSDALE -Leaving Bairnsdale you follow the signs to Lakes Entrance on the Princes Highway.
You will pass through three towns: Nicholson, Johnsonville, Swan Reach - at Swan Reach you go over the Tambo River bridge and immediately turn right onto Metung Rd. Travel approximately 8 kilometres to the Metung sign and Edgewater Terraces (cnr Nicholas Ave) is the next on your right.
DIRECTIONS TO METUNG FROM NSW - Continue along the Princes Highway through Lakes Entrance. Approximately 5 mins drive past Lakes Entrance you will see a turn off (left) for Metung and Nyerimilang Homestead (Kalimna West Road). You can either take this turn-off or the next one which is just a couple of km's further (opposite the East Gippsland Forestech and with a blue sign for "The Moorings". This road is called the Nungurner Road. Either way, you will end up on the Nungurner road, continue until the end and you will come to the Metung Road - turn left for Metung and our complex is only a couple of minutes drive and will appear on your right (the water will be on your left).
