Linen, towels, beach towels, certified organic bathroom products and many extras are included. Certified organic and local produce breakfast provisions are stocked in the cabin for your arrival.

The air conditioned, two-storey accommodation cabin sleeps a maximum of five people including children and infants.

Booking and cancellation policy

Local directions

Once on the M1, take the M420 exit left. Continue on the M420 for approximately 34 kilometres, and then take the Korumburra and Leongatha exit to the left on route A440. Continue following road signs to Leongatha, Koonwarra, then to Tarwin Lower. Travel through the small township of Tarwin Lower with the Tarwin River on your right and you will soon arrive at the small village of Venus Bay. From Venus Bay village, turn left into Centre Road then left into Canterbury Road, follow this road to Lees Road, keep travelling due west. Venus Bay Eco Retreat is at 802 Lees Road.

Free Guided Wildlife Walks
Free guided wildlife walks are available exclusively for eco retreat guests, including night walks to see wombats and other nocturnal Australian wildlife. Availability depends on weather conditions and host availability, provided free of charge. Please enquire at check in.

Venus Bay Eco Retreat Goes Solar
In February 2011 Venus Bay Eco Retreat upgraded planet - friendly initiatives to include 22 Photovoltaic Solar panels linked directly into the electricity grid. The retreat continues to improve sustainability actions. Your visit helps conserve our beautiful coast and wildlife, and supports sustainable tourism.

Visitor comfort
From September 2011 the accommodation has reverse cycle air conditioning for the comfort of guests all year round. In March 2012 furnishings have been upgraded with the addition of new three seater and two seater lounges and original Aboriginal central desert paintings in the downstairs lounge area. The reference and recreation library is continually expanding with new books added every few months.
