A fun, farm based experience for kids to deepen appreciation for food and where it comes from.

For six days during January the farm is hosting special farming and food days for kids aged 6-12 years. Kids learn through all their senses, and this is a chance to experience all kinds of new sights, sounds, tastes, smells and textures as they:

- Bottle feed the baby lambs
- Feed the chooks and collect the eggs
- Pat the pigs and giggle at the turkeys
- Collect a bucket of warm milk from Suki the friendly cow
- Gather their own fresh produce and berries from the vege patch
- Learn useful cooking techniques and recipes as they use the fresh ingredients they have gathered to prepare their own yummy lunch

This great day is hosted by resident farm kid Martha (almost 7 years old).

Numbers are limited to six per day so everyone gets a good opportunity to meet and pat the animals and lots of guidance and attention when cooking.

The 113 acre farm is self sufficient in vegetables, meat and dairy and committed to ethical and sustainable practices.
