Tour starting location
Lonsdale Cruises are located at Cunningham Quay in Lakes Entrance and offer a totally different cruising experience.
Your cruise includes a three hour, 28 kilometre cruise. A scenic cruise bonus will be to sight the dolphins that frequent the Lake system from around end-April through to December. During the winter and spring period you will often see baby and juvenile dolphins with the mothers and groups (pods); during these times great care is exercised not to harass them.
Lonsdale Cruises will always try to locate pods of dolphin for your visual pleasure but of course they are wild creatures and at times are in areas beyond view and control, therefore cannot always guarantee sightings.
Expert commentary will be given by skipper Tony, a 4th generation seaman and a local character with an inimitable sense of humour and extensive knowledge of the Gippsland Lakes area and its most interesting history.
Tea and coffee will be available with freshly baked scones. There is also have a range of beers, wines and soft drink on board at bar prices.
The Lonsdale is great for private functions - whether a corporate or a family occasion. Call the skipper to discuss your requirements and for a competitive quote for your charter.
