Prom Country Visitor Information Centre - Foster truly is Victoria's southern secret. Located an easy one and a half hours drive from Melbourne, the region is suitable for a day, weekend or longer getaway.
Explore the natural wonder of Wilson's Promontory National Park, as well as other State and National Parks including, Tarra Bulga National Park and Mount Worth State Park. All offer beautiful walks with stunning bush, rainforest and or coastal scenery and abundant native wildlife.
Walk or ride along the Great Southern Rail Trail or many of the other spectacular walking trails that the region has to offer. Enjoy summer at the beach at picturesque Sandy Point and Waratah Bay.
Visit Agnes Falls, the highest single span waterfall in Victoria. Take the kids and step back in time at Coal Creek Heritage Village in Korumburra. With plenty of activities on offer it is sure to keep the whole family happy.

From Melbourne, once on the M1, take the Cranbourne and Phillip Island exit (M420). This will get you onto the South Gippsland Highway. Continue on the M420 for approximately 34 kilometres, then take the Korumburra and Leongatha exit, route A440. Travel on the A440 approximately 80 kilometres until you reach Foster and follow the signs to the Visitor Information Centre.
