Carrigg House - Ballarat Miners Cottages are a self-contained accommodation property that is nicely air conditioned.
Carrigg House - Ballarat Miners Cottages has bedding facilities for two couples and one single, enabling family and friends to enjoy a break in the Goldfields area.
Recently completed the re-vamped cottage now has a two-story extension which accords wonderful views of the surrounding area.
The cottage is easily located by travellers from Melbourne and Geelong and is very close to the central shopping centre, Sovereign Hill, Eureka Centre, the Ballarat Wildlife Park and to Ballarat's full range of restaurants and hotels.
The cottage is strategically located as a base for visiting the surrounding country towns and other places of interest including Buninyong, Creswick, Ararat and Daylesford.
For those interested in bushwalking, arrangements can be made for guests to be dropped off a various points along the Great Dividing Trail's Wallaby Track to then walk back to the cottage. Suggestions of suitable day rides on bicycles including the Skipton Rail Trail are available.
There are a number of small but interesting local wineries which can be visited at weekends in the Ballarat area.

Carrigg House was originally made up of three different buildings moved to the location at separate times, however with the ravages of time was no longer able to hold it's head high. The cottage has been rebuilt to now boast three bedrooms, a magnificent living/dining area with views from the rear deck across Ballarat east towards Sovereign Hill and the famous site of the Eureka Rebellion.
The cottage offers large spa, 3 bedrooms, lounge and library area, purpose built kitchen and laundry, undercover off-street parking.
Accommodates: 5 (2 Queen and 1 single bed)
Located in very quiet cul-de-sac with no passing traffic.
