Self-catering accommodation is available in the beautifully appointed Auberge de la Rose. While the gardens, part of Open Gardens Australia, follow a Mediterranean theme.

Owners of Redesdale Estate, offer the estate's own grown olive oil and cellar door wines. Old museum vintages back to 2001, all highly awarded, are available for sale direct from the cellar door.

Redesdale Estate is located only 70 minutes from Melbourne. Redesdale is a quiet and charmingly bewitching town, but if you blink, you will miss it!

Local directions

Travelling North from Melbourne City, via Tullamarine Freeway and Citylink. After Bulla Road exit, continue on the Calder Freeway M79. Take the second exit to Kyneton marked "Kyneton Heathcote". This exit leads to a roundabout where you turn right and head over the freeway bridge. Look for the sign marked "Heathcote, Lake Eppalock and Wineries". Follow this road for 26 kilometres to Redesdale. Once in Redesdale, turn onto the C327 marked "Bendigo, Lake Eppalock". After two kilometres, turn right here at Redesdale Road North. Another two and a half kilometres, look for the sign for Redesdale Estate.
