Where else can you taste Heathcote wines from over 50 producers, as well as regional foods and produce in one central location over one great weekend? In Heathcote, Victoria's Heartland, at the Heathcote Wine and Food Festival held at the Heathcote Showgrounds.
The Heathcote wine region is internationally renowned for its Shiraz. However there are now other wine varieties to discover in Heathcote - such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Viognier, Marsanne, Sangiovese and Tempranillo.
From passionately maintained vineyards on the worlds most ancient soils come amazing world class wines. Once a year, the artisan winemakers of Heathcote gather to show some of the most distinctive and iconic wines in the country.
Add tutored wine tastings in the popular Tasting Seminars, delicious regional foods, live music, activities for children and you have a festival not to be missed.
Enjoy some relaxed live music or participate in wine seminars, taste and buy many of the 150 plus wines on offer. Match your favourites with interesting delicious food - something for everyone! Tastings and are free.
Parking is within the grounds, the walk is short - convenient if taking home bottles or cases.
Apart from travelling by car you can get to the Festival by train (VLine to Bendigo then Festival bus to Heathcote). From Melbourne you can catch the Festival bus direct from Southern Cross Station to the Festival. And while you're at the Festival, you can take a short visit into Heathcote township on the Festival Shuttle which runs continuously every 20 minutes or so.

Cancellation and booking policy
Terms and Conditions of Entry: No BYO alcohol to be brought into the Festival grounds. Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult. No alcohol service without appropriate wristband and Official Festival tasting glass. No dogs. No refunds, cancellations or exchanges on tickets.
Proceed east from the Information Centre in the main street of Heathcote. Signs will indictate how to get to Chauncey St and the Heathcote Showgrounds.
