Established in 1981, Heathcote Winery specialises in the production of gold medal winning Shiraz. Wines are stamped with their own unique style but are still reflective of the Heathcote region.

Heathcote Winery's signature brand, Mail Coach shiraz, is a consistent medal winner. The Origin Shiraz, grown on the famous red Cambrian soil, has now developed a strong reputation as one of Heathcote's great single vineyard, handcrafted reds.

Heathcote Winery also produces the iconic Slaughterhouse Paddock Shiraz, a genuinely unique full bodied style from some of Heathcote's oldest vines and is a must for those seriously interested in great Heathcote Shiraz.

The winery also produces the popular Mail Coach Viognier. The cellar door is open seven days a week for visitors to enjoy complimentary wine tastings, with a range of gourmet products from a range of Victorian artisanal producers, including Boosey Creek Cheese, Meredith Dairy and Istra small goods and Mount Zero.

Heathcote Winery's Cellar Door and adjacent art gallery are situated in the main street in a heritage listed building. Cellar door is now serving delicious soul food every day from 12pm to 4pm in the new Galleria Food and Wine Bar.

See their website for the latest offerings. Alfresco dining is available in the relaxed courtyard on those warm summer days, or you may wish to dine in the art gallery with a beautiful warm open fire in Winter for a more intimate experience.

Voted 'Best Large Cellar Door and Best Food for Heathcote' Gourmet Traveller Wine 2013 and 2014.
