A Place To RelaxGrampians Paradise offers a retreat from the pressures of busy life. A place to relax and to relate to a rich and varied country environment. You can take time to sit and enjoy the views of the lakes and mountains, to listen to and watch the birds. To wander around the parkland, gardens and wetlands. You can sit by the Lake while the children kayak, fish or play by the Lake. You can watch your children as they play in the open field where there is room to fly a kite or kick a football. On a summer evening you can sit on observatory hill and watch the changing colours of the hills and mountains as sun sets. You can watch the yellow-tailed black cockatoos flying overhead to roost on Mt William. As the stars come out you can listen to the frogs. On a summer's night you can lie on the top of observatory hill and look at the stars.

Distances and estimated travel times are given to the different places of interest and starting points for walks. Tour information is available from the Reception Office.
In Tune With The Natural WorldBeing close to nature is one of the delights of camping at Grampians Paradise Camping and Caravan Parkland. Set informally in rural style botanical gardens featuring a wide range of Australian native trees and shrubs campers can feel in tune with nature. The flowering trees and shrubs attract a wide range of native birds. Blue wrens and scrubs wrens feed happily around the camping areas and flocks of red-browed finches and the cheeky yellow robin are frequent visitors, An illustrated bird list features the 90 species of birds recorded on the property, To the west of the Parkland, the spectacular peaks of Redman's Bluff and Mt William dominate the skyline. To the east, Redman Bluff Wetlands, a series of lakes and ponds on the property provide habitat for a range of water birds and small animals. Nine species of frogs have been identified living in the wetlands. It is a short walk into the bush and into the Grampians National Park. Spend time wandering along the tracks observing the native flowers or sitting and listening to the birds is a very interesting experience for individuals and families. Guide notes and illustrated check lists of flora and fauna are available for our guests.
