Children and the young at heart will also love getting up close a personal with the characters of local Halls Gap Zoo, from the scaly boa constrictor to small fury northern quolls.
Or enjoy all-day family performances with of the live music and roving entertainment including stilt walkers, clowns antics and juggling.
Plus all festival entry tickets includes heaps of free kids activities. Test your skills at rock climbing, make a funny scarecrow to take home for the veggie patch, get your face painted or explore aboriginal culture with Brambuk the National Park & Cultural Centre in the kids' activity tent.
While the kids are being entertained, mums and dad can discover over 125 food and wine artisans and devour the cookery secrets of guest celebrity chefs as they demonstrate entertaining recipes using fresh and local ingredients.
