Sheepvention is Hamilton Pastoral and Agricultural Society's biggest farming event with over 25, 000 visitors attending last year's show in regional Victoria. With a mix of competitions, entertainment, food and fashion, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Sheepvention's competitions and events include the Ram Sale, Sheep Show, Ewe Weaner Competition, Farm Dogs Competition, Alpaca Show, Inventions Competition, Seminars and Wool Fashion Parade.
The Ram Sale is a unique selling system designed for the Sheepvention Pen of five Rams drawing vendors and buyers from all over Australia to attend.
Demonstrating the diversity and history of sheep in Australia, the Sheep Show exhibits up to 1000 sheep including Heritage and Merino breeds.

The Free Bendigo Bank Bus operates from the Hamilton Town Centre with collection at the Peforming Arts Centre and 3HA Radio Studios to the Hamilton Showgrounds Horner Street Entrance.
The Hamilton Town Bus operates from the Hamitlon Town Centre to the Shakespeare and King Streets with normal charges applying. The bus does have a low ride floor. Further details can be obtained by calling (03) 55711 682
Limited parking is available in streets around the Showgrounds site, in the Friendly Society Oval (enter Via King St). Patterson Park will not be available for parking. Parking is also available at the Hamilton Saleyards, Portland Rd with a free bus service to the Showgrounds, commencing at 9am each day.
