A secluded getaway for single people, couples or families. Positioned at the end of The Great Ocean Road, Sea Mist is just a short walk from Logans Beach Whale Watching Platform and the picturesque Hopkins River.

An extensive promenade walking and cycling track is located at the front of the drive and runs for about seven kilometres from the whale viewing platform, up the road, across the river, through coastal vegetation and sand dunes along Lady Bay to the Breakwater. The Surf club, Lake Pertobe (and carnival in summer) is just off the track. Simon's Waterfront Cafe and The Pavilion are two different restaurants worth stopping in at along the way.

Logans Beach and the Hopkins River are just five minutes walk in different directions, while the centre of Warrnambool is less than five minutes drive.

All apartments have a no smoking inside and shoes off on carpet policy. They are fully self-contained but include all towels and linen, with beds made up. Although there are three apartments on the property, they have good space between them as the property is two acres.

Sea Mist's gardens were established over a number of years aiming to be as sustainable as possible. Design principles of Permaculture were used including energy efficient buildings, using collected rainwater, recycling waste water onto the garden, composting, defining zones, a space for the spirit including a wildlife corridor to the apartments. In laying out the meandering paths that lead you on as well as into the garden spaces we drew freely in concepts that Edna Walling is well known for.

Sea Mist Studio and Apartments have an organic orchard and vegetable and herb gardens that use companion planting and successive crop rotation. Guests may use some produce if there is extra in season, but please ask first.

Sea Mist Apartment

This is a very beautiful and generous one bedroom apartment with stunning views across the Logans Beach Valley, Logans Beach cliffs and the Hopkins River and Warrnambool township. It includes an air conditioned open plan spacious kitchen, lounge and dining area with a large separate bedroom, walk-in robe. A luxurious bathroom and a separate toilet with laundry facilities included. Large decks including outdoor furniture grace three sides of the elevated building. Car parking provided. Breakfast available as an extra on request payable directly to property owners. The apartment is usually available to a single adult or an adult couple only, however there is the possibility that the second bedroom can be used for extra adults, two king single beds can convert to a super king.

Sea Mist Studio Apartment

Delightful open plan, airy spacious studio apartment with a galley kitchen, large dining table. Television with DVD player at one end with chairs. A cosy fireplace with lounge suite is situated at the other end. Study desk, washing machine and portable line included. Comfortable Queen bed positioned so that fire can be enjoyed from bed. Two king single beds can be made up if needed, there is also another fold down lounge, next to the dividers between the bed spaces, which can accommodate an extra person. Separate bathroom including a huge shower with a built in seat, great for kids and elderly. Breakfast available as an extra on request payable directly to property owners. Private gardens to enjoy. Car parking provided next to the apartment.

This is a very beautiful two bedroom apartment with stunning views across the Logans Beach Valley, Southern Ocean and Logans Beach Cliffs from the main rooms and the deck at the front. It includes a small but highly functional, fully equipped kitchen. A lounge / dining area with two separate bedrooms including built in robe. Separate luxurious bathroom including a large shower and double spa. Separate toilet and laundry. Very comfortable queen size bed and two king single beds that can convert to be a king size bed. Patrons are free to walk through the gardens, there is also a large flat lawn space in front of the apartment. Car parking area provided. Breakfast available as an extra on request payable directly to property owners.

Instructions from Melbourne. Turn left at the third set of traffic lights. Go through the roundabout, under a railway bridge, cemetery on your right, follow the bend around to the right. Turn left into Hopkins Road, turn left into Marfell Road. Go over the Hopkins River Bridge. Turn first right into Blue Hole Road and first left into Logans Beach Road. They are on the first bend, the third drive on your right. Car park before the apartment.
