Overview
Anglesea Backpackers is a ten minute walk from the beach, along the beautiful Anglesea River, and only 200 metres away from the golf course; home of the famous kangaroos. The backpackers hostel is an excellent place to base yourself while experiencing everything the surf coast has to offer, including magnificent beaches, national parks, shopping and the world famous Bells Beach.
They offer one dorm style room with six bunk beds, as well as a family room, with a double bed and a set of bunks, which accommodates 4 OR you can reserve the private ensuite room, which includes a double bed and single bunk bed, complete with your own bathroom. All linen including doonas, pillows, pillow cases and doonas covers are provided. Bring along your groceries and you'll be cooking up cheap and healthy banquets in no time - in the fully equipped kitchen.
Chill out in the TV/living area after a full day of hiking, catching waves, riding your mountain bike or horse riding.

Cancellation and booking policy
They require 24 hours notice of any cancellation, with the exception of summer peak and Easter. You must secure your booking with a credit card for these peak times and give at least 48 hours notice or you will be required to pay for your booking.

Local directions
From the east, travel west towards Lorne. Just after to cross the Anglesea River, take the first right. They are just past the first roundabout on the left. From the west, pass the Shell service station and take a left into Noble St, look for the blue backpacker signs.
