Great Ocean Road Tourist Park is situated on the Great Ocean Road in Peterborough, right on the banks of the Curdies River Inlet, next to the bridge and opposite the hotel. This area is very popular for estuary and surf fishing, cray fishing and diving. The sandy beach at the mouth of the river is a popular spot for swimmers of all ages.

The park features Riverfront, Spa, Deluxe and Standard Ensuite cabins as well as powered and unpowered sites in a picturesque, tranquil setting. It also has a modern camp kitchen and barbecue area with open fireplace, games room and television room, plus a playground with jumping pillow and basketball ring.

There is a general store, licensed grocer and hotel with great a bistro meals right opposite the caravan park. Peterborough Golf club boasts a challenging nine hole golf course along the cliff tops.

Port Campbell National Park is adjacent and features the famous 12 Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, London Bridge, the Arch and many other spectacular coastal features unique to this area. The Bay of Islands and Bay of Martyrs are also a 'must see'. There are numerous shipwreck sites along the coast also with the nearby Flagstaff Hill Maritime Museum in Warrnambool putting on a fantastic laser light show.

The Otway Fly treetop walk is only a short drive away, as is the 12 Apostles Gourmet Loop with cheese factories, a winery, distillery and berry farm.

The Park is a member of the Top Tourist Parks of Australia chain, and offers discounts to all members. They are also the proud winners of Turu's award for "Victoria's Favourite Holiday Park" in 2015 and 'Australia's Favourite Holiday Park' in 2014 & 2013.

Deluxe Cabins

Newly renovated Deluxe cabins have queen size bed in the main bedroom, two sets of bunks in the second bedroom (or double with single bunk above), internal ensuite, full cooking facilities in kitchen, television with DVD player in lounge area, reverse cycle heating/air conditioning, ceiling fan.

Standard Ensuite Cabins

5 Rooms

Newly renovated Standard Ensuite cabins that sleep from two to six people. All bedding is supplied to queen or double bed plus all additional required beds. Internal ensuite, basic cooking facilities, television with DVD player, table and chairs, reverse cycle heating and cooling.

Powered Sites

35 Rooms

Great locations for your caravan, tent or camper trailer. Individual taps and power available. All grassy sites. Close access to modern amenities block and camp kitchen. Camp fires are welcome, subject to CFA fire conditions or restrictions.

Riverfront Cabin

The Riverfront Cabin is top of the range, with beautiful views of the Curdies River Inlet. It has a queen size bed in the main bedroom as well as a flat screen television, two sets of bunks in the second bedroom, internal ensuite that has a walk in shower with rain head, separate toilet, modern kitchen with dishwasher, lounge area with gas log fire, large flat screen television, surround sound, iPod docking station and air-conditioning. The deck has outdoor table and chairs to take in the water views.

Unpowered sites

All unpowered sites are in an open, grassy area, and are large and spacious.

Cancellation and booking policy

A deposit for your booking forms a contract which will be honoured by Management. For any booking cancelled outside of 30 days prior to arrival date, a 25 per cent cancellation fee will apply and the balance of monies already paid will be refunded. If your booking is cancelled within 30 days of arrival date, there will be no refund. On arrival, payment in full is required. There will be no refund after arrival if your stay is cut short for any reason.
