The park has a solar heated swimming pool, television and games rooms and adventure playground to keep the children occupied. The park boasts two barbecue areas and campers will enjoy the fully equipped camp kitchen. They have an on-site Kiosk selling bread, milk, ice cream and other food and camping items, gas and ice.

The town has a well stocked general store with cafe and outside terrace and historic Country Hotel which serves cold beer and meals.

The park is within a 20 minute drive from the Otway Fly Tree Top Walk and within easy reach of Lorne, Apollo Bay, the 12 Apostles, Otway Light House and Otway National Park. The area boasts many walking tracks including the recently opened Old Beechy Rail Trail, a scenic walking and biking track connecting Colac and Beech Forest, passes through the park which is the located on the site of the old Gellibrand Railway Station. Carlisle State Forrest is within walking distance.

The surrounding area feature some of the best waterfalls in the Otways, such as Triplet, Beauchamp and Hopetoun Falls. These are all within a 30 minute drive.
